Puzzles Accounting Services is a small accounting firm founded in 2025. For now, we only operate during nights and weekends. We are committed to provide clients with the most accurate financial information, empowering you to make the decisions for your business. Whether you are looking to get back on track, need someone to handle your financials, or just need the assurance that you are on the right path, we are here to help.
The name Puzzles Accounting Services was born out of a joke in How I Met Your Mother where they are going to open a bar and call it "Puzzles". As we thought about it, we realized how perfectly the name reflects our passion for making strong connections and allows us to help others build their businesses. Whether you are just starting out or are looking to make a change, we are open to making a connection.
MEET OUR TEAM
I grew up in West Michigan and attended Davenport University where I obtained both my BBA and MBA.
I have had many roles in the accounting industry which has helped me to optimize the close process to allow owners to have accurate information quicker allowing for more agile decision making.
With a solid foundational understanding of accounting and a drive to help, I am eager to be a part of your company's financial picture.
Throughout my career I have had the privilege of of working with companies in retail, food service, manufacturing, industrial servicing, construction, and software development. Each business that I have worked with has helped shape me into who I am now.
The connections we make are important and I am excited to help those in the community with the knowledge and expertise I have obtained with regards to bookkeeping, budgeting, forecasting, and understanding proper accounting.
I grew up in Metro Detroit and earned my Bachelor of Professional Accountancy from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids. My accounting career began at my family’s kitchen counter, helping my parents manage their small business finances using QuickBooks Desktop — an experience that sparked my passion.
Throughout college, I gained hands‑on experience in multiple areas of accounting through internships with local West Michigan firms. I chose the public accounting route because it allowed me to work with a wide range of industries and business owners. Over the years, I’ve supported clients everywhere from farmers’ kitchen tables to school district boardrooms, giving me a deep understanding of how different organizations operate and what they need to thrive.
One thing became clear early in my career: most business owners didn’t start their company to spend hours managing bookkeeping, payroll, or financial reporting. They started it to pursue their passion. My role is to take the stress out of accounting so they can focus on what they do best.
I’m committed to meeting business owners where they are — whether they want to learn the accounting process in QuickBooks Online or prefer to hand it off entirely. My goal is to provide clear, reliable financial guidance that helps small businesses grow with confidence.
